From forth the primordial swamp emerges the Bog Witch, accompanied by her retinue of Familiar toads, snails, and turtles. Against the backdrop of the forest, the bog absorbs and digests, creates and destroys, slowly consuming dead wood and spent vegetation while providing a home for water-loving woodland creatures and melancholic human pilgrims alike. With tendrils of freshwater seaweed in her hands, driftwood for her staff, and mossy stones beneath her feet, the Bog Witch reminds us that one must decompose to recompose.
The Bog Witch candle blends together the marshy, bright, earthy scents of the bog, conjuring images of moss-covered snail shells, statuesque driftwood, and fresh water lilies. Top notes of bright green leaves and watery algae give way to a base of sharp vetiver, woody moss, and damp earth.
